BTW Nick Briggs is the official set photographer behind all the gorgeous promotional shots from the first two series and the book. AFAIK this is the only one from Series Three released so far.
I suspect Series 3 will reveal how the lovely Cora was forced to sign that dumb entail.
“The Apartment” with Shirley MacLaine
I finally watched “The Apartment” starring Shirley MacLaine that I bought on the strength of the recommendation from Michelle Dockery and Elizabeth McGovern. I can see why they loved it.
It’s a lot like Mad Men, except way better. They just don’t write dialogue like that anymore. I’m looking forward now to seeing Shirley in Downton Abbey Series 3.
